Our stance
Trivialize is a skill-based trivia game: outcomes depend on what you know and how quickly you answer, not on luck. It is not a gambling product, and it does not rely on being argued into that position — the app has no wagering at all. You cannot stake coins, every game and live event is free to enter, and coins carry no cash value and can never be cashed out.
Prizes in a live event are funded by us and paid in local currency. Because entry is always free, nothing you spend can buy a better chance at one. We still keep responsible-play protections in the app, and we point anyone who needs it to professional support.
The tools you control
You'll find all of these in Settings → Account limits:
- Daily deposit cap — the most you can add to your wallet in a day.
- Session-time alerts — a gentle nudge after you've been playing for a while.
- Cool-off — pause deposits for a short, fixed period when you want a break.
- Self-exclusion — block every deposit for a period you choose, from 24 hours up to 1 year. A 24-hour cool-off applies before it activates, and once active it cannot be lifted before its end date — even at your request.
Age & eligibility
Trivialize is an 18+ app, age-rated 18+ in every store that lists it — because live events award prizes in real money, rating boards treat it as adult content even though there is no wagering. Age verification is required before any deposit, prize entry or payout, and receiving a prize payout additionally requires identity verification before any money moves. Payouts are offered only in regions where we operate; misrepresenting your region is a breach of our Terms of Service.
Know the signs
It might be time to take a break, set a limit, or self-exclude if you:
- Play or spend more than you planned.
- Spend money you can't comfortably afford.
- Feel anxious, irritable, or low when you're not playing.
- Hide how much time or money you spend from people close to you.

Protecting minors
Trivialize is not for under-18s. The store listing is age-rated 18+ and set to an 18-and-over audience, so it is not served to accounts the store has determined belong to minors, and no deposit, prize entry or payout is possible without age verification. Parents and guardians can use device-level parental controls, and should email support@trivializethis.com if they believe a minor has created an account — we will close it. Coin purchases are ordinary in-app purchases and can be restricted with the same store-level controls as any other app.
